Seema began her career in early 90’s at Mitsubishi JV plant in India for commercial vehicles when there were very few women in mechanical engineering , and was a challenging environment , since then she worked with various automobile and engineering companies including TATA,VOLVO, LMW , SPIRE in last 25 years as direct or contractual.
She is currently focused on various aspects of value chain of sustainability , smart cities and light weight mobility. She is a regular speaker on sharing strategies to improve approaches for sustainability projects . An eagle's view with a amalgamated experience through her regular interactions with diverse international community of shanghai of same field have honed her skills, which she is using for dovetailing to arrive at precise workable strategies for India market. Personally she is an active philanthropist as international campaigner for prevention of visual impairment - focuses on UNSDG goals and work with many NGO/ONGO across Asia and serves as chairwomen/Board member to many social organisation in China/India for prevention of blindness and empowerment of blind community, specially children for their eye health and supporting uninterrupted education . Her few projects for blindness prevention sought award from German Chambers and AMCHAM Shanghai and International prestigious grants .
